From our initial contact, FD differentiates itself from most of its competitors: we will be always be up-front and honest about what we can and cannot do; we shun the “oversell, under-deliver” tactic used by many firms as a major and often fair criticism of the public relations industry; the FD team making the pitch will be the same team managing the account.
The staff of FD has an unparalleled network of relationships with key journalists, an instinctive eye for what makes news, the ability to write well and clearly, and an excellent administrative team backing them up.
Our teams of two service no more than four clients. In this way clients benefit from a team dedicated to their account which becomes immersed in their business and the sector in which it operates. For this reason we normally do not accept ad-hoc work as this would dilute the levels of service our long-term clients have come to expect.
All our operational and administrative teams are available as backup and support to each account team, thus lending our collective experience and creativity to all our clients many of whom are based outside of South Africa.
We are currently active in the following sectors: banking and financial services, specialty chemicals, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, fishing, shipping, tourism, information technology, services and non-governmental organisations.
